Cybersecurity Leader Proofpoint Expands Global Presence with International Hub in Cork, Ireland

Proofpoint, Inc., a leading cybersecurity and compliance company, today announced that it is expanding its global presence with a new office in Cork, Ireland. The new location will serve as Proofpoint’s international hub, creating more than 250 jobs in the next two years – with plans for ongoing, active recruitment and continued investment in the region. 

With global headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, and offices worldwide, including in the UK and Northern Ireland, Proofpoint helps companies around the world stop targeted threats, safeguard their data, and make their users more resilient against cyber attacks. The Cork city centre hub will initially house key functions for the business, including engineering, research and development (R&D), customer support, finance, and marketing.
